Someday believers in Yeshua will find out. Until then, we have the Sabbath. Shabbat is a foretaste of the world to come, a glimpse beyond our hurting world.

Christ in the Sabbath looks at the meaning of the day in the Tanakh (Hebrew Scriptures) and Brit Chadasha (New Testament). Above all, Shabbat is fulfilled in Yeshua, who said “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.”

Christ in the Sabbath also includes chapters on the Sabbath in Jewish tradition and folklore, modern Jewish observance, its relation to Sunday in church history, and the variety of approaches modern believers—including Messianic Jews—take to its observance.
